The Glen Feshie Check, also sometimes referred to as the Glenfeshie Modern Tartan, is a district tartan designed by Mrs. Ellice, the wife of the landowner in the area, in 1834. The reason for its creation is said to be that Mrs. Ellice did not have a tartan representing her clan or region, so she designed her own. The tartan was then worn by her husband's staff, including gillies and keepers.

The tartan is registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans under the STA reference number 5008. It is described as a "red" tartan, with black, green, and white also featuring prominently.
